What is the woman thinking and doing? What is she thinking about doing?

What does the large yellow flower and moving, surrounding objects represent? 
Your imaginative answers will be as good or better than mine.  Today with the war in Ukraine, demolishing civilizations, I somehow think that the large flower is a faded sunflower. As I'm sure you know, the sunflower is the Guatemalan national flower and is also the Kansas state flower. Power to Ukraine.
