The multi-colors on the breast and body of this figure to me reflect the life and reality of human flesh. I don't think I'll ever get tired of painting the human figure, male or female. There is something intriguing and tremendously challenging to me as I try to represent persons who are in one way or another created in the image of God. There is a depth and complexity that's difficult to capture or imagine.
