Floral in the Window

I had a beautiful arrangement of flowers. I love flowers. All shapes and forms. I placed the vase of these flowers on a table with a mat and against a bright window. I had fun not just with the beauty but with the composition and the rearrangement of the flowers as the painting went on. I'm not a botanist, so I'm not pretending the flowers are exact representations of their natural state. But I find a freedom in painting them and arranging them even as I paint them with a strong backlight and hope to do additional floral paintings.
