This hillside housing drew my attention as my friend Angel and I went to pick up his son in Guatemala City. They were neat, efficient and sufficient in size to house families. I really loved the shapes and the shadows and the angular, irregular shapes. I don't think they were excessively dependent on the uses of a carpenter's square. This hillside community seemed to vibrate with life. Just for fun, I added a monkey to the scene. Can you find him (or her)?
