KWU Model Sketch

This model sat for us at Kansas Wesleyan University here in Salina, KS. I still see him once in a while on the street. He was a good model for our group and I enjoyed this quick sketch of him. As you probably know by now, the human body is the most challenging subjects that I can think of. I'm intrigued by the difficulty and complexity of capturing the various skin tones and shadows and muscles and personalities. I look forward to many more opportunities and are always eager for chances to study and paint the human figure.
