This painting started as "drip" painting. The forest with bright skyline just sort of emerged out of those drips. In some ways this painting reminds me of a forest fire. It could also remind me of a tree line at sunset.
I've never actually been in a forest fire. My heart goes out to those that have been.  I hope that someday we will learn and implement ways to lessen the number of fires and improve the health of our planet.
