I love flowers, every shape, every form, every color. I've raised flowers. I'd like to have fresh flowers in my house. And I enjoy painting them. I am not a botanist and my depictions of flowers may not be exactly correct, but I'm not trying to be exactly correct. The burst of floral color in this painting reminds me of a bride's floral arrangement. It reminds me of bright, happy times. Weddings can be festivals of family, unity and love.
