A Floral Swirl of Color

A colorful basket of flowers swirling with life. I compressed the rose and iris seasons, but I think they go together beautifully - what a beautiful time of the year! I love flowers, and I just came in from planting my spring flowers (a little bit late). I can hardly wait for them to take off. This painting was fun to paint because as you can see it's pretty loose and I enjoy loose brush work.
