I saw an image on the Sunday morning news that resulted in this impression of a child in a refugee camp. I couldn't get over the image of him in such stress and so young. So after painting it in a type of box, which I imagined to be walls, I began to think about what the painting would say if it could speak. And that's where I came up with the phrase "They cry for you and me." Without adult action and decision making, children will continue to suffer from famine and wars and neglect. I personally like to support Doctors Without Borders and if you are so inclined, I recommend them to you.
